I patterned and built this 1950’s cotton floral voile dress after a design from an existing vintage 1950’s dress. I used a vintage black cotton voile printed with multi colored flowers. The V-neck bodices closes with red cotton covered buttons. I used the same red cotton for the pocket flaps and belt. The gathered skirt is shown worn over a net petticoat that I also patterned and built.
